Swan-qi at New Years Eve

I took the pic with my iPhone 4S

We are building momentum to get a good start on the new year, and one of the things we’ve done is take a walk to the beach. There were many swans who were probably also accumulating power. They moved very calmly and gracefully – well, until they turned their bottoms up to munch seaweed. The swans may excuse me for saying this, but they really look fun with that fat, white bottom straight up in the air and black rubber feet paddling to keep the balance.

Sea level is unusually high, and since the temperature is around zero, there’s crispy ice along the water’s edge.

I live and work on Gotland, Sweden’s biggest island, right in the middle of the Baltic Sea. I’m interested in many things and somehow I happened to start four blogs with different content.

Asa In the Middle of the World is in English and is also about life on this island, but the content has changed to be more about Apple. I’m very interested in Apple and since 1989 I’m a Happy Apple User.
