Steve Jobs is dead

When I got up and opened my MacBook the first thing I noticed was that Steve Jobs has passed away. It’s about an hour from now. It was really expected that he at last would be forced to give up his fight against cancer and I have seen enough of cancer to understand that he wouldn’t ever come back to Apple. When he resigned as the CEO, then he resigned.

I am an Apple-fan since 1989 and have followed the development of Apple’s wonderful products since then. I know that Apple has had a big impact on how my life has turned out and I can’t even imagine how my life should have been without Apple. We have built our company from using Apple’s computers. Apple gave us the tools and possibilities. I have from start understood that Steve understood so much more and has had the long-term, working visions that made the Windows-world seem to be so wrong, so stunted. Windows and pc is like a gigantic mis-thinking from start – it might seem to be good for some, but it isn’t good all the way through. I’m sorry all PC-people, but Apple IS the best!

Apple is like an eternal truth in it’s philosophy. Like the computer world’s golden section. Like a meditation. Like an Infinite Loop. Minimized beauty. Designed function. User friendly. Inspiring.

Steve Job’s dedicated work to make his visions come true did pay off at last, but it took an iPhone to make people all over the world to understand his greatness. Today they understand.

Steve Jobs – I miss you! Thank you for making my life so much better.
